C6748的UART程序

    大家好。我最近在BIOS下开发C6748的UART程序,之前没弄过DSP,所以有很多问题不太明白。在TMDLCDK6748的开发板上跑了一个TI提供的例程,例程在biospsp_03_00_01_00\drivers\examples\evm6748\uart,例程的代码如下:

在Build成功后,把生成的.out文件下载到开发板上,然后加断点调试,发现执行到红色代码部分时,就卡住了。按照注释说明,应该是让输入一个1000字节的字符串。我想知道这个UART程序应该怎么调试啊?需要在开发板上进行硬件的连接吗?

在安装目录下有说明文档,要跟PC连接串口,产在上位机打开串口工具,运行程序后就会有显示/提示了。
