TDA4VM: tiboot3.bin erase spi flash

When boot form spi flash, we can read data from flash before loading file sysfw.itb.  And can I erase flash before loading file sysfw.itb?

Sorry we fail to understand the use case. More details will be helpful. tiboot3.bin is the R5 SPL & runs from MCU R5F0 core.You are booting from OSPI and want to erase OSPI? If you erase OSPI then where will the next boot binaries likethe sysfw.itb, tispl.bin & u-boot.img be fetched from?
