how to design ipnc web gui ？

I want to know about appro ipnc web gui is how to design ,and what is the Interface of Applications interacting with the Web.If I don't use GODB to design it so how to design it with javascript & html . I found the update.cgi just do update system soft ,such as bootloader      kernel  . I just do web gui first .please help me .

if you want to design webGUI system all by yourself, you should think of the problem by yourself:)

Here is my suggestion:

 create a big activex control which do everthing including receive streaming, interact with camera by cgi,

you can also design it as Onvif client(web service/soap) which interact with camera.
