Resetting regulator circuit

Currently, I have designed an LM2576-5V (3A according to the datasheet) regulator circuit and I am powering up a raspberry pi 3 which can draw up to 2.5A, but only draws max. 900 mA when powering it up. I chose the inductor and the capacitors according to datasheet, so that shouldn't be a problem. Here is the datesheet of lm2576

When i power it up in 7V it is working perfectly fine. However, I need to work in 12V and raspberry pi keeps resetting in 12V. So, how can i prevent resetting or what might be the problem that causes reset?
