for eCAP can be either software sync-in or external sync-in. The external sync-in signal can come from EPWM, eCAP, or X-Bar. The SWSYNC of the eCAP module is logical ORed with the SYNC signal as shown in Figure 19-7. The SYNC signal is defined by the selection of SYNCSELECT[ECAPxSYNCIN] as shown in Figure 19-8. Note If SWSYNC is forced from ECAPx, then the Sync pulse is delayed by one clock cycle for sync pulse receiving ECAPs . This cycle delay/lag for the sync pulse receiving ECAPs can be corrected with the CTRPHS register. If there is an external SYNC signal, then all ECAPs see the signal at the same time.
