Part Number:DS90UB948-Q1Other Parts Discussed in Thread:DS90UB949-Q1,
Ds90ub949-q1 is used with DS90UB948-Q1, hdmi output to ds90ub949, 948 output to the screen, medium probability screen display abnormal.
Reproduction method: plug and unplug the power supply back and forth. If there is an electric spark at the power supply port when plugging in and unplugging the power supply, it will almost appear.
The test and comparison of registers show that the values of registers 0x37,0x49 and 0x1b of the 948 chip are different under normal and abnormal conditions. According to the manual, it is found that the FPD/OLDI output mode is different. The test found that if I reboot the device, the screen will continue to disappear. The data and voltage cables connected to 948 and 949 will not work until the 948 is reinitialized, or the power supply is replugged. Now the 948 power down foot is not controlled by the cpu. I can't find a way to ask the 948 to check the output mode again according to the manual.
Is there any way to make the chip retrigger the detection of output mode by manipulating the register?

Hello, about your questions, this sounds more like a power supply problem than a problem with our device. Can you measure the power rails while this happens and on startup? What is the power sequence? Also, does this happen with every unit or just one?
