Part Number:CC2640R2LOther Parts Discussed in Thread:CC2640, , LAUNCHXL-CC2650
I want to implement a simple bluetooth beacon app and found an anomaly in the transmit power during testing. When I tested last Monday, I set up sending 0dbm, but the actual test was 3dbm. After a week of re-measurement, the setting is to send 0dbm, and the actual test is 0dbm. The behavior is consistent every time you validate with your own application and SmartRF Studio 7 tools. My configuration was also generated with SmartRF Studio 7. Am I missing something that is not configured? Why do the same programs behave differently? Will it affect the stability of the product?

In in-depth testing using SmartRF Studio 7, it was found that the configuration of the txpower of the CC2640EM-CXS and the LAUNCHXL CC2640 in RF Design Based On was inconsistent, and the actual emission intensity was also inconsistent. My actual product is CC2640R2L, which value should I refer to?

您好,请看下以下答复:
Please provide your RF_cmdBle5RadioSetup_bt5le1madvnc_* parameters. So do you observe the expected results with Smart RF Studio 7 but not your firmware solution? Are you evaluating a custom board or TI EVM, and have you tried comparing results between these two options? As can be seen with the CC2640EM-CXS and LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2F settings in Smart RF Studio, the txPower parameter will vary based on the board design. You should reference SWRA640 and consider submitting your design to SIMPLELINK-2-4GHZ-DESIGN-REVIEWS for further review.

This RF_cmdBle5RadioSetup_bt5le1madvnc_* parameter is based on RF Studio 7 CC2640

您好,工程师答复如下:
I do not follow how Smart RF Tools 7 led to the txPower value chosen (0x2558 would be -3 dBm for the LAUNCHXL-CC2650), I assume that the pRegOverride* values are as default for Smart RF Studio 7 v2.28. My other questions have not been answered.

Hi,
You can submit the board design to SIMPLELINK-2-4GHZ-DESIGN-REVIEWS for a review. You can post a new E2E thread for HW support while this thread stays focused on SW resources.
建议您可以再重新发布一个帖子(如果您可以自己发布E2E帖子的话),如果不行,会由我来帮您升级到英文论坛。
