Does the minimum of High-side switch current limit and Low-side switch sourcing current limit decide the output inductor peak current?
For example,in TPS54620 datasheet, High-side switch current limit and Low-side switch sourcing current limit are 11A and 10A respectively, does that mean the output inductor paek current can reach no more than 10A?

Can anyone help me out?
Max Han:
Hi Andy,
the inductor current will flow the high side MOSFET and low side MOSFET respectively, so MOSFET's limit current is smaller than the inductor current. however the current is RMS not peak. when you design a circuit, please pay attention to keep enough margin.
